Returnable packaging · Reusable dunnage · Est. 1988

Packaging that earns its keep—trip after trip after trip.

Solid-wall HDPE returnable containers and dunnage, fabricated in North America for the parts that move the same lane thousands of times a year. Tougher than corrugated. No trapped moisture. No tooling bill. Built to come back.

  • No molds · no tooling charge
  • Solid HDPE · no flutes, no rust
  • North America · freight-advantaged

The honest case

Big, bulky, low-value plastic is the one thing overseas can’t underprice.

When packaging is large and light, freight is most of the landed cost — you would be paying to ship air across an ocean. That is precisely the category we make, and precisely why a North-American plant wins on total cost. We are not here to replace your suppliers. We are here to be the durable-packaging partner that quietly makes their parts arrive clean and undamaged.

Why Duraloc

Four reasons buyers standardize on solid-wall HDPE.

01

Freight-protected by design

Big, bulky, low-value plastic dunnage is the one category where overseas pricing does not win. Air is most of what you would be shipping. Manufacturing in North America keeps the freight on large, light, high-cube packaging where it belongs — short, fast, and economical.

02

Solid-wall HDPE, not corrugated flute

Solid high-density polyethylene walls take rugged plant use, resist most chemicals, and will not crush, score false-fold, or break down the way corrugated plastic flute does under repeated load. One container does the work of dozens of expendable boxes.

03

No flutes means no trapped moisture

Hollow corrugated flutes hold wash water and condensation against your parts — an open invitation to rust on machined and fabricated metal. Solid walls hold nothing. Parts ride clean and dry, trip after trip.

04

No molds, no cutting dies, no tooling bill

Because the system is fabricated from sheet rather than molded, there is no five-figure tooling charge to amortize. That makes custom and lower-volume programs economical to start — and easy to revise when a part changes.

What we build

A returnable system designed to your part.

All capabilities
Interlocking cell partitions — illustration

Interlocking cell partitions

Solid-wall HDPE dividers that snap into a rigid cell grid — from a simple ornament pack to contoured cutouts that cradle a specific part profile.

Best for Machined components, fasteners, fabricated assemblies

PART HELD · FIXED ORIENTATION
Part cradles & nests — illustration

Part cradles & nests

Contoured supports that hold a part from underneath in a fixed orientation, so it travels exactly the way it needs to arrive.

Best for Oriented presentation, awkward geometries, paint & assembly

Details
LAYER PADS · STACKED, WASHABLE
Layer pads & tote dunnage — illustration

Layer pads & tote dunnage

Flat solid-wall pads and tote-fitted inserts that stack parts safely by the layer and turn a generic tote into a part-specific carrier.

Best for Stacked parts, returnable totes & bins, line replenishment

Details
SIDE-LOAD RACK · LONG PARTS
Side-load & shock/strut solutions — illustration

Side-load & shock/strut solutions

Purpose-built racks for parts that have to load from the side or ship long and slender — developed from real automotive shock and strut programs.

Best for Shocks, struts, long shafts, side-load-only parts

How we work

From your part to your dock, without a tooling commitment.

  1. 01

Send the part & the lane

Share the part (drawing, sample, or photos) and the shipping lane — where it goes, how often, and how it is handled at each end.

  2. 02

    We design to CAD

We design the partition, cradle, or rack to your geometry and send CAD for sign-off before a single sheet is cut. No tooling commitment.

  3. 03

    Fabricate in North America

Approved designs are fabricated from solid-wall HDPE on a freight-advantaged North-American footprint and shipped to your dock.

  4. 04

    Run it for years

The packaging cycles back and forth, washes clean, and keeps working. We support revisions as your parts and volumes change.

Start a program

Send us the part. We will tell you the truth.

Share a drawing, a sample, or a few photos and your shipping lane. If returnable packaging is the right call, we will design it to your part and approve the CAD before anything is cut. If it is not, we will say so.
